With over 65% of TRACES certificates issued in Europe, Melita Bees is officially the first European exporter of queen bees.
11,000 mating nucs divided between the apiaries of the island of Gozo (Malta) south-eastern Sicily and north of Italy allow us to breed over 32,000 Queens Bees, which arrive on time every Tuesday in all in Europe, UK and Canada
These goals are only achieved with a solid foundation, and our customers themselves confirm the quality of our work. we have a close working relationship with them to the point that some are real partners in the selection. In fact, our goal is to provide the best bee for each environment and specific need.
Who has tried our queen bees claims that "they are of another category", not only for the abundance of the harvest, but also for resistance to diseases and longevity. In northern Europe, for example, they remain productive from 3 to 4 years.
But making good queen bees is not enough: we also need to know how to provide excellent service. The punctuality of deliveries is fundamental for us, and we do everything to respect them even when the weather unfortunately does not cooperate.
