Originating from the high-altitude valleys of the Central Caucasus, this "Loc Selection" is specifically engineered to excel in environments where nectar sources are difficult to reach and climates are unpredictable.

1. THE LONGEST TONGUE IN THE BEE WORLD The Caucasian bee is famous for having the longest proboscis (tongue) of any honeybee species.
- The Benefit: These bees can access nectar from deep-flower sources like Red Clover and Alfalfa that are physically inaccessible to other races.
- The Result: This ensures consistent honey production even when traditional forage is scarce, a massive advantage for Canadian commercial beekeepers.
